You acknowledge and agree that SG Webinars, its founder, owners, principals, contractors, employees, representatives, readers, script consultants, editors, and its associates are exposed to many screenplays, teleplays, stories, ideas and literatures (i.e. novels, books, etc.) through our story analysis service and through normal, daily interactions with colleagues, affiliates, agents and random individuals we meet in our day-to-day life.
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless SG Webinars, its founder, owners, principals, contractors, content suppliers, readers, script consultants, editors, and its employees, affiliates, and agents against any and all claims, actions, losses and liabilities (including attorney’s fees) which may arise from your use of the service and or/material obtained from any of our services on the website. Furthermore, you agree that SG Webinars is not responsible for any claims arising from your failure to register your treatment(s), script(s)/screenplay submission(s)/story/stories with the Writer’s Guild of America or U.S. copyright office, prior to submitting your treatment(s), script(s) or screenplay(s) to SG Webinars for story analysis service and other services on this website. By browsing, using or accessing this website, you agree to SG Webinars’ “TOS.” By using any of SG Webinars’ services, you, the customer, also understand that the Teacher’s/Writing Consultant’s/Script Consultant’s/Script Reader’s evaluation/analysis of the customer’s Creative Material (i.e. script, treatment, story, etc.) is subjective and may not be complimentary, positive or in agreement with the customer’s own opinion of the Creative Material (script, treatment, story, etc.). The customer understands and agrees that the comments in the script coverage are the Teacher’s/Writing Consultant’s/Script Consultant’s/Script Reader’s professional opinion of the writer’s work. SG Webinars, its founder, owners, principals, consultants, readers, and associates reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who tries to “over extend” a service by requesting additional advice or emails after the last class of a given course. SG Webinars, its founder, owners, principals, contractors, employees, readers, and associates cannot retrieve/re-work the customer’s Creative Material to personally answer questions or requests after the last class of a given course. SG Webinars reserves the right to terminate service with anyone and refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time, provided that SG Webinars provides that person a 100% refund. The customer understands and agrees that services provided on this website are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. The customer also understands that SG Webinars is not in the business of matching writers to agents/managers or producers.
You hereby agree that there are many literary material, scripts, books, and magazines out there that have stories, concepts, themes or premises that may be similar or identical to yours and you release SG Webinars, its founder, owners, principals, contractors, employees, readers, script consultants, editors, and associates from any claims, demands and liabilities. You understand and agree that no confidentiality agreement is formed between you and SG Webinars when you submit your Creative Material (i.e. screenplays, treatments, synopsis, story, query letter, etc.) to SG Webinars for service(s). You, the customer, further agree that you are not entitled to compensation because of the use of any similar or identical literary material, story premises, ideas and/or stories. All images, email correspondences, and contents on this site cannot be reproduced without the owner’s written consent. If you do not agree to the Terms of Service, please do not browse, use or access the website.
Prohibited User Conduct
