Huck Finn is one of the best American Novels ever written, in spite of the language controversy (which ignores historical context completely and the author’s own bitter satire on the institutions of slavery and racism). I read it as a boy and loved it, in college and appreciated it even more, in my forties even more, and now, in my sixties I think it resonates at a level very few books achieve. Twain connects generations.
